Description
INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCMENT Event: General Services Administration's CIO Application Maintenance, Enhancements, and Operations (CAMEO) Re-Compete Effort. The official name is To-Be-Determined. Date: August 7, 2018 @ 10:00 am (doors open at 9:30, please allow time to get through building security) Location: GSA Central Office Auditorium, 1st Floor, 1800 F Street NW, Washington D.C. 20405. Seating is limited to 250 attendees. GSA IT will host an Industry Day event to promote the follow on effort of the current CAMEO contracts. The follow on contract(s) will not share the same name (name is TBD) or exact Scope of Work as the existing contracts, but the effort will be similar. GSA will provide an overview of the planned Scope of Work to date, and seek input from industry how to better improve the Scope to meet desired outcomes. GSA's desired outcomes include: Transformation •Provide a focus on a unified transformation vision and approach aligned with a defined solutions architecture governed and aligned with the FAS Business Architecture and GSA Enterprise Architecture and •Implement true digital transformation utilizing cloud-native, open source, and emerging technologies that enable business capabilities which deliver the FAS mission vs. Re-platforming of silo-ed applications and systems •Balance speed of transformation with lowest program risk •Empower GSA FAS to be more competitive leveraging an innovative, efficient digital acquisition platform Efficiencies •Drive increased velocity of transformation leveraging innovative and emerging tools, techniques, and technologies accelerating O&M and Infrastructure savings •Deliver a flexible, resilient, loosely coupled architecture, built on common services that reduce redundancies and risk in development and O&M, driving down costs •Measure and reward innovation, efficiencies, and velocity through quantitative SLAs Please complete entry of the Interested Parties List using the below link.
