Description
SF-30 Amendment 1 Amendment 1 7/19/2018 Items issued for information and clairification after site visit. 1) It will be the responsibility of the contractor to coordinate with the city on any lane blockages, meter bagging, and other traffic related issues with this project. The contractor should inquire on bagging the first couple of meters for work/parking areas as parking is not provided by the government. There is a pay lot across the street and meter parking around the building. City of Little Rock Contacts: Bill Henry - 501-379-1800 (Traffic) 501-371-4528 (Parking Enforcement) 2) There are no security requirements for this project with exterior work. The contractors can use the facilities inside (restroom/vending) only after going through the metal detector and providing a valid US issued ID. Workers will be required to keep the area clean and will be required to clean floor if mud or other debris is brought in. 3) Contractor to contact Arkansas One Call prior to construction, Arkansas811. 1-800-482-8998 or http://call811.com 4) This is a fully occupied building with 2 sitting judges. Construction activities such as demo may have to take place after hours or coordinated with court / GSA to ensure no disruption from the building tenants. Court schedules will be provided to help schedule construction activities. It is not uncommon for the work to be stopped by the CSO (Court Security Officers) per the judge's orders. 5) Any option of bollards is acceptable as long as it meets the below criteria: Barrier strength shall be determined by the OSS PSS. It is recommended that barriers be able to stop, at a minimum, a 15,000lb vehicle at a speed of 30mph when an unimpeded straight line approach is possible. (K4 Rating - Department of State) (M30 Rating - ATSM F2656-07) Options were discussed of using the shown method of a prefab system, poured in placed footing with cast iron, or core drilled reinforced concrete filled. Documentation will have to be provided showing method will meet requirements. 6) Working hours will need to be addressed prior to work, but normal business hours for the building are 7:00am - 5:00pm. As stated above any noise activity that is disruptive to the courts and judges, may be stopped during the activity and resume after normal business hours or those coordinated with court and GSA. 7) The technical requirements specified in the SOW is a write up briefly describing the site and how you as the contractor will perform the work.
