Description

Solicitation N0042118Q0557 is issued as intent to sole source. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Glenair Incorporation under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 12 and 13. The requirement is additional Fiber Optic Cables that Glenair has previously manufactured per designed using NAVAIR's specifications. They have been tested and proven to work with equipment already in use and required for compatibility. Substitute product will not be accepted. This notice is intent to Sole Source with Glenair Incorporated. Will also accept offers from Glenair Incorporated Small Business Authorized Partners/Distributors. ***Basis for Award*** Vendor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any Department of Defense contract. This can be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov/vendor.cfm.
