(05606) P/N 798E843 IAW REFERENCE DRAWING NR 98752 200415485 REVISION NR C DTD 09/05/2008 PART PIECE NUMBER: IAW REFERENCE DRAWING NR 05606 798E843 REVISION NR C DTD 02/29/1984 PART PIECE NUMBER: 798E843 IAW REFERENCE QAP 16236 SQAP011304516 REVISION NR C DTD 12/03/2013 PART PIECE NUMBER: Should a company wish to be reviewed and qualified as an "Approved Source", they may submit an application package through the DLA Land and Maritime Alternate Offer / Source Approval Request (SAR) Program. A SAR package contains all technical data needed to demonstrate that the prospective contractor can competently manufacture the product to the same level of quality or better than the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The onus is on the contractor to document and demonstrate their product is equal to, or better, than the currently approved item which DLA Land and Maritime is procuring. Offerors should complete and submit their Alternate Offer (with SAR package) to the Contracting Officer listed in the Solicitation. Offers not cited as an approved source are required to obtain source approval prior to award. The contractor must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) PKG to DLA for evaluation. All required information must be provided. Any available drawings can be accessed along with the solicitation once it is issued. THE TECHNICAL DATA CITED IN THIS SOLICITATION IS NOT COMPLETE, HOWEVER, THE ITEM PROVIDED MUST MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITED TECHNICAL DATA IN ADDITION TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE PART NUMBERED ITEM LISTED ON THIS SOLICITATION. Bidder Qualification Requirements: Offerers not cited as an approved source of supply are required to become an approved qualified bidder prior to award.
