- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Missouri River Recovery Program has a need for the replacement of 22ft aluminum work boat, 200hp 4 stroke engine, and a heavy duty tandem axel trailer. The replacement boat will be used by the Missouri River Recovery Program for Pallid sturgeon research within the Kansas City District. This is a multi-agency (State and Federal) project that is funded by the Corps of Engineers. The boat will be used by district staff to capture adult fish to be used in the propagation program and to provide annual population monitoring of the species. The specifications are as follows: BOAT/HULL: Flat bottom, Flat Front, aluminum work boat (2284) • 22ft. 84in wide (floor), 106in Beam width. • 24in side walls, with 4" tall wings on transom extending forward 5ft on both sides of gunnels • 25in transom • 6ft long 0.125 diamond plate weep deck • Smooth bottom front rake on front to prevent net snagging, Bow eye will be recessed into a pocket to create a flush surface. • Removable (bolt on) front round tube deck rail, 36" tall from deck floor, wrapping around on both sides of front deck. • 0.125 diamond plate floor. • Full rear motor splash well. • Right side mounted console, 30" bottom/top width, 18in deep, and connected to top of gunnel, Located 46" in front of splash well, with lockable storage compartment. • 30" wide, 30" tall aluminum framed windshield with clear tempered safety glass (laminated) • 30" x 24" storage compartment in front of console. • One Adjustable height heavy duty Seat/Pedestal/Glider located behind driver's console. • 30 gallon aluminum fuel tank w/sending unit fill tube, Dash gauge, vent, and fuel lines mounted under rear splash well. • Fuse block mounted in driver's console storage compartment. • Rear mounted battery under splash well with a master shutoff switch. • Bilge pump with console switch. • Horn with console button. • Side mounted front navigation lights, rear removable all around light. ENGINE/DRIVE SYSTEM • 200hp 4 stroke engine with side mounted electronic controls and stainless propeller, hydraulic steering system with helm, and jack plate. TRAILER: • Heavy Duty tandem axel galvanized trailer with hydraulic brakes, LED lights, side and bottom plastic bunk board guides, heavy duty winch, trailer jack, and spare tire/mount. • 2" ball hitch • Boat will ride between wheel wells to minimize ride height for easier boat launching.
