The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking qualified and competent small businesses to submit offers to successfully complete a project to replace existing ionization smoke detectors with photoelectric type smoke detectors, to program the main fire alarm panel to recognize the new detectors, and complete all required tests to ensure the functionality of the system is restored to its original condition. All work is to conform to NFPA 72, International Building Code and to the attached specifications. The NAICS code for this project is 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, which has a small business size standard of $15.0 Million. SET ASIDE - SMALL BUSINESS SERVICE CONTRACT ACT WAGE RATES APPLY See Sections L and M of the attached Request for Offers (RFO) and all attachments for detailed information on submitting offers.
