Description

NAVSUOP Fleet Logistics San Diego (FLC-SD) intends to award a sole Source contract to PROCTOR, JR, FR JOHN located at 16428 Opimo Court, San Diego, Ca 92128. The proposed purchase order action is for Religious Services for DoD NAVCONBRIG Miramar. FLCSD will use FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The authority for soliciting a single source under simplified acquisition procedures is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting Competition, which states that contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract will be based upon the responses and is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation document exists.
