- Description
- This is a Pre-solicitation Notice of the US Government's intent to issue a solicitation for the renovation of the Athena House, Bogota, Colombia. The order of magnitude for this requirement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The estimated period of performance is 180 calendar days. This acquisition will be issued under full and open procedures. The project consists of the renovation of existing building with three-story height 505 sqm in order to be used as an office for the Colombian National Police (CNP) in Bogota, to support the DIRAN program. The construction shall include the use of quality materials that are capable of withstanding a tropical rainy climate. The work includes activities such as demolition, concrete structures, masonry, metallic structures, pre-fabricated materials, finishing, utilities, connectivity, isolation system and exterior works This facility shall have electrical, communications system, internal installations, doors, door hardware, air conditioning, and finishes indicated in the drawings. The building will be upgraded to the current standards of the Colombian Seismic Resistance Code (NSR Standard, 10) Place of Performance: The project will take place in Bogota City, and is located at the West part of Bogota, in the neighborhood named Salitre. The solicitation is expected to be posted on July 27, 2018 and it will be available for 40 days - reference 19AQMM18R0312. Award of a Hybrid (Firm-Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursable) contract is within 120 calendar days from the solicitation response date. A pre-proposal conference and/or site visit(s) is currently scheduled (on-site or nearby) at 10:30 AM, August 1, 2018. Contractors shall express their interest in this solicitation by written correspondence to the attention of Larry Pruitt Jr. All correspondence shall be submitted via email to IP_Contracting_Team@state.gov and must include the solicitation number 19AQMM18R0312 in the subject line. DO NOT TELEPHONE. Firms shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken English and possess all appropriate permits and licenses to perform such work in Columbia. Solicitation and award will be subject to the laws and regulations of the United States of America and is being competed utilizing full and open competition procedures. This is a pre-solicitation notice, otherwise known as a synopsis (summary). The solicitation pertaining to this notice will be available to all interested vendors.
