- Justification and Approval - Catalogic DPX and ECX Products This justification authorizes and approves the issuance of Contract Number 1605DC-18-C-0018 with Catalogic Software, Inc. The Department of Labor (DOL) Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM) Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO) requires Catalogic ECX and DPX components to support a robust enterprise common operating environment. The Catalogic ECX and DPX components will replace the end of life (EOL); end of services infrastructure components currently supporting the OCIO customer agencies. The stabilization for the Catalogic ECX and DPX infrastructure under the Fiscal Year 2016 (FY16) EOL Tech Refresh will support the mission to address to the needs of business workers, provide customer service, and develop strong regional economies to influence workforce development and workplace safety. This effort is to renew the annual maintenance and support agreement for OCIO's existing software, and to purchase new licenses. Continued support is vital for the software that provides enterprise level data network backup and recovery services. The purchase of software and maintenance continues to increase the capabilities of the existing systems and improve the overall business operation through standardization of the configuration, and upgrade of end of life systems and components.
