- Description
- This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Request for Quotation (RFQ). The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 335313 with a size standard of 1,250 employees or less. This acquisition will be handled as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The Contractor shall furnish 245-kV disconnect switches complete with all accessories and fittings as stated in the specification and drawings. The equipment shall be outdoor type disconnecting switches and grounding switches that are three-pole, single-throw, group-operated, rotating insulator type as specified below. Each switch shall be complete with all accessories and fittings required to place the unit into operation.. The switches shall be in accordance with ANSI/IEEE C37. Only new equipment of current and present day manufacture shall be furnished. Interested parties can download the solicitation at http://www.fbo.gov on or about July 30, 2018. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
