- SOW FOR ROOM 24 IN BUILDING 1 CLAUSES SF 1442 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number 12438918Q0003 is issued as a request for quotations and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through FAC 2005-99. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 238350. The small business size standard is 15.0 millions. This procurement is set aside for HUBZone Small business concerns. USDA-ARS, National Peanut Lab Dawson,GA is looking to renovate ONE lab space. A statement of work is attached to this solicitation. Projected range is between $30,000 and $80,000 All CONTRACTORS must visit the site and acquaint themselves with the condition of the Lab space, dimensions, and site conditions prior to submitting a QUOTE. The contact on site will be Mr. Hector Rodriguez at 229-869-3560. Failure to visit the site prior to quoting will be grounds for rejection of quotes. Failure to become acquainted with the site will not relieve contractors from full responsibility for a complete job as specified. Lab drawings are NOT provided and are THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR. The numbers provided AT TIME OF VISIT are Mott Mfg. co. for identity of equipment only. Acceptance of the standard commercial warranty does not waive the Government's rights under the Inspection clause nor does it limit the Governments' rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the standard commercial warranty. The contractor shall provide a copy of its standard commercial warranty (if applicable) with its response. Contractors have discretion on manufacturer of counter tops and cabinets as long as they meet specs listed on SOW. Counter tops shall be the size on drawings, they do not have to be the same size as the old ones.You will need to have the proper state and local licenses for the job. Submittals should include: Price Quotation and Shop Drawings: 1. The Contractor shall furnish shop drawings illustrating the layout and placement of all laboratory casework, fume hoods if applicable as well as any products included in this section. 2. Indicate the type and location of all service fittings, sinks and associated supply connections. 3. Preparation instructions and recommendations. 4. Storage and handling requirements and recommendations. 5. Narrative describing technical approach. Include asbestos disposal work. Also include in quote: 1. List of proposed subcontractors. 2. Past performance references for similar work. 3. Preliminary schedule 4. Cut sheets from proposed manufacturer of casework, valves, faucets and any other items used in installation. Evaluation of Quote: The Government anticipates awarding a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offer or whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered (Technical specifications and Past Performance). Award will be based on a tradeoff analysis.
