Description
Performance Work Statement Draft Solicitation Description of Services Objective(s): This describes the services required to provide depot level repair capability for the Agilent 85037A SNA Detector. The extent of repair work required shall be determined by the initial inspection/bench check and required disassembly to return this item to a serviceable end item that shall efficiently serve its intended purpose. Repairs shall comply with quality levels of repair necessary to return assets in serviceable condition. The assets shall also be delivered on time in accordance with the contractually agreed turnaround time (TAT). This acquisition will benefit the USAF by having available assets to fully support war fighter mission by allowing proper field level testing which requires the Agilent 85037A SNA Detector. The war fighter will benefit by having the capability to fully test Pods in field level settings as required by the approved maintenance concept for Pods. The Agilent 85037A SNA Detector is an integral component of the Pod test systems, ALM-256 (ILSE) and ALM-233 (ASE). The SNA Detector was originally coded ERRC "N" and managed by DLA. Upon notice of the unavailability of new production from the OEM, DLA canceled the NSN. Through research the AFLCMC/WNY engineer determined that the SNA Detector was repairable. Due to unavailability of new assets and no repair in place due to ERRC "N", the demand created by the user has not been satisfied. In addition, this contract requirement will directly have impact on reducing Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP), backorders and TAT for Field customers. The contractor shall furnish the services and material necessary for the essential depot level repair, functional testing, inspection, and packaging of the items.
