- NIFC CMPS BLDG FALL PROTECTION UPGRADE NIFC Campus Fall Protection 100-102-106 The Bureau of Land Management, National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, Idaho has a requirement for a construction project that developments and installs fall protection devices/guards/restraints/warning lines on the roofs of three buildings. The project documents identifies the devices selected by the government in specific areas as performance requirements. The contractor shall be responsible for developing the specific elements of the devices and the connections and installing the devices shown in accordance with code. This announcement serves as the advanced notice for the project. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on FedConnect and FBO in early August 2018 for a single award that is a firm, fixed-priced contract. The construction work is anticipated to begin October 1, 2018. The magnitude of the project is anticipated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. Bids shall be due within 30 days from the solicitation posting date. The solicitation is expected to be restricted to small businesses. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 236210, Industrial Building Construction with a size standard of $36.50 million.
