The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses. Truman Memorial Hospital is wanting to procure a single large capacity CO2 incubator will replace 2 smaller CO2 incubators. The larger CO2 incubator shall use regular electrical outlets and will not require any additional training for the Biomedical Staff. This solicitation uses a Brand Name or Equal Description of the product required. This permits prospective contractors to offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name (VWR SCIENTIFIC). Operational Features: Directed horizontal laminar airflow system Three RH system settings: off, medium, high Three water fill options: automatic, semi-automatic, ergonomic manual Microprocessor control Selectable temperature, over temperature, CO2, humidity Audible/visual alarm and alarm silence Remote alarm contacts Data outputs to help meet internal and regulatory documentation requirements Heated triple-pane glass door Two thru-wall access ports (one on right and left sidewalls) for probes, sensors, power cords Interior and exterior accessory receptacles Stainless-steel interior Adjustable heavy-duty, solid stainless-steel shelves Swivel, locking casters Leveling feet 29 Cubic Feet
