- SYNOPSIS Title: Protocol Support Services, Medical Education Training Campus (METC), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Fort Sam Houston Product or Service Code: R799 NAICS Code: 561110 This is a preliminary pre-solicitation synopsis. THIS IS NOT A FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The 502d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Randolph Air Force Base, Texas intends to issue a non-personnel service solicitation to provide One (1) Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) personnel for Protocol Support Services to perform a variety of day-to-day functions in support of the Protocol Officer, the Public Affairs Officer and assist the Executive Assistant in support of the Medical Education Training Campus (METC) located at Fort Sam Houston (FSH), Texas. The contractor shall provide the Government the following FTE personnel: 1 FTE - Protocol Specialist personnel to perform a variety of day-to-day functions within METC. Serve as Protocol Specialist to assist the Protocol Officer with the planning, coordinating, and implementing a variety of events to include domestic and foreign visits, military and civilian ceremonies, special events, and meetings. The contractor shall assist the Public Affairs Officer with the planning, coordinating, and executing of public and media visits, provide photography support for events and visits, and provide support for press releases. The contractor shall assist the Executive Assistant with routine administrative duties in support of METC. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561100 Administrative and Clerical Support with a small business size of $7,500,000.00. The applicable Federal Supply Code (FSC) is R799. The resulting contract will be a 100% Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) Set Aside. The government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract as a result of this solicitation. The Government anticipates issuance of Solicitation (FA3016-18-R-0070) on or about 08 August 2018. The Period of Performance (POP) is Base Year and four (4) Option Years. Any information related to solicitation will be available only via the Government Point of Entry, Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Registration in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov is mandatory in order for a contract to be awarded. NOTE: The government will not entertain questions regarding this acquisition until issuance of the solicitation
