- The General Services Administration (GSA) Southeast Sunbelt Region 4 announces the opportunity for a Request for Proposal to provide. Repair and Improve Roof Cover Systems at the IRS Service Center Chamblee, GA. The project involves the design, repair, replacement, and improvement of thermal and moisture protection systems and rainwater drainage systems at roofs of the Internal Revenue Service Center in Chamblee, Georgia. This procurement will be set-aside for Total Small Business. The estimated project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is, 236220 -- Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a Small Business Administration size standard of $ 36.5 Million. The Period of Performance for this project is 245 calendar days. This project is to be awarded as a firm fixed price contract. The procurement method will be a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP). Award will be made to a firm offering the best value to the Government utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures. The Request for Proposal is expected to be issued on or about August 1, 2018. A site -visit and the offer due date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and all other information, amendments and questions concerning the forthcoming solicitation will be electronically posted at the following web page: http://www.fbo.gov. No telephone requests for docs will be accepted. This solicitation is not a sealed bid and there will not be a formal public bid opening. All questions/inquiries or requests for clarification must be in writing, preferable via email to the persons specified in the solicitation. All answers will be provided in writing and will be available on the aforementioned FBO posting. Interested firms must be registered and have completed their online representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM). Firms can register via the Internet site at https://www.sam.gov or by contacting the SAM Service Desk at http://www.fds.gov.
