- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for rehabilitation of single-story office building, for the Birch Hill Dam Project Office, located at 68 Birch Hill Dam Road, Royalston, MA 01368. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all materials, equipment, and labor to rehabilitate the exterior of the 30' x 38' single-story Project Office building. Work includes constructing a front entry door roof, replacing railings at two entry doors, replacing 4 basement windows coated in lead paint, removing and disposing exterior wood trim coated in lead paint, replacing rotted window sills, replacing 2 gable-end vents, replacing the gutter, and replacing all vinyl siding and window shutters in accordance with specifications. This solicitation will be available on or about 5 Aug 2018. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WILL BE AVAILALABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS RELEASED. The solicitation will be available for downloading by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov). In order to view this solicitation, prospective contractors are required to self register their firm with Federal Business Opportunities (Go to http://www.fbo.gov and "register now" under Vendor/Citizens). Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238190 with a Small Business Size Standard of $15.0 Million. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District.
