- Purchase Description 2 Purchase Description 3 Purchase Description 1 This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6-Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-9 Effective 15 Jun & 16 Jul 2018.The synopsis/ solicitation number is PANAPG-18-P-0000-141926 for the purchase of Two (2) Enclosed Class II Custom Body (Non Standard Body - Built to Custom Specifications) vehicle enclosures for Ford F-450 Trucks 2016 model. This requirement is a Total set-aside among Small Business Concerns represented by NAICS Code 336211 (Motor Vehicle Body Manufacturing). This requirement will be awarded as a Firm-Fixed type contract to the Lowest Priced offero'r that meets the specification in the SOW. Description of Requirements: The contractor, as an independent contractor and not as an agent of the Government shall furnish two (2) vehicle enclosures. It is the responsibility of the contractor to design (or purchase shell), build, and install based on the specifications listed below a service body that will fit onto a : Ford F-450 2016 / Gross vehicle weight 16500 / Crew Cab / Dual Rear Wheel Drive / Cab Axle 60.0 / Wheel Base 176.0 / 4X4 Drive / Diesel. The trucks will be provided by the U.S. Government and is located at the US Army base 8429 CBRNE Drive Aberdeen Proving Ground South, MD 21010. The contractor shall pick up, install the cab enclosure, and deliver the truck upon completion back to base. For specific information, please refer to the Purchase Description attached. Instructions to Offerors: All quotations from responsible sources will be fully considered. Vendors who are not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov, database prior to award will not be considered.
