Description

For 3 licenses of core test (IDEAS) data acquisition software. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement to purchase continued software maintenance for 3 licenses of core test (IDEAS) data acquisition software. The software will be provided by Maya Simulation Technologies. at 34 Southwest Park Westwood, MA 02090-1548. The NAICS code is 541330. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Maya Simulation Technologies. The proposed action is to purchase (IDEAS) data acquisition software, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: No other software platform has a comparable transition time. Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement no later than 28 July 2018. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by 07/28 /2018, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
