The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either an unrestricted competition or set-aside will be chosen depending on the responses to this market survey. The responses to this market survey will be used for information purposes only. This is not a screening information request for proposals of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred associated in preparation or in response to this market survey. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area has a requirement to install new Air Handling Units 1-10 at the Salt Lake City UT system and demolition of the existing AHU's. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Demo computer room air-conditioners AHU-1 through 10, associated plumbing, electrical, and controls. AHU 2 is currently a CRAC unit, but will be replaced with a Vertical standing AHU. 2. Install new computer room air-conditioners AHU-1 through 10, associated plumbing, electrical, and controls, and install a Vertical AHU for AHU-2, that will connect to existing ducting. 3. SF-1 in the Auto wing 1st floor is currently a ceiling mounted fan, with coils, and shall be replaced with an AHU mounted in the location indicated on drawings. It will have a heating and cooling coil and reconnect with existing duct. 4. Demo and Replace all control dampers, and actuators, associated with AHU 201, 202, 203, 204, and 205 A&B. Refer to the attached Project Specifications for a detailed description of the requirement.
