- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst intends to establish a five (5) year Basic Ordering Agreement on a sole source basis to Selex ES, Incorporated. This BOA is intended to procure components, subassemblies, and support services of the Selex Model 2100 Civil ILS system for NAWCAD Air Traffic Control (ATC) Division, AD-4.11.7. The Civil ILS is an all-weather precision approach system that provides pilots with precise guidance information during the final approach phase of flight. The Civil ILS will be used in conjunction with other airport ATC equipment to provide a complete Ground Control Approach capability for DoN and other military and civilian aircraft. Selex ES, Incorporated is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the Model 2100 Civil ILS equipment and will be providing OEM support services for the In Service Engineering Activity (ISEA) during this critical installation period. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
