Description

This is a sources sought announcement. This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a competitive acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the overhaul of the following item: The Extended Range Fuel System II (ERFS II) is an internal tank fuel system that provides the CH-47D with the ability to fly for an extended period of time without having to land for refueling. The ERFS II may be installed in one, two or three tank applications in addition to the Forward Area Refuel Equipment (FARE) kit installation. Through the use of a FARE kit, the CH-47D can also be used to ferry fuel to forward areas to support refueling operations of other aircraft and equipment. The system consists of five functional components: the fuel tank assembly with fuel and vent hoses, restraint system, ERFS II Fuel Control Panel, and FARE kit assembly. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 and the size standard is 1250 employees. Currently the only known approved source(s) for this requirement is ROBERTSON FUEL SYSTEMS, LLC. (CAGE: 1T765). Interested parties who have the capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio-economic status as applicable.
