- Page 1 of 2 This is sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Richmond, 1201 Broad Rock Boulevard, Richmond, Virginia 23249 is seeking potential sources capable to provide a boiler inspection and maintenance service agreement. The maintenance plan should include internal/external annual inspections, annual safety valve replacement and recertification, and certified welding repair for as-needed R-1 welding repairs for a base and option(s) contract. Company MUST have below certifications to be considered capable: a. Factory Certified to work on Cleaver-Brooks Nebraska boilers. b. Certified welders (R1 Stamp) for required weld repairs c. Certified controls technicians d. Ability to support boiler management control systems included: i. Fulton ii. Fireye iii. Siemens iv. Honeywell v. Hays Cleveland vi. Cleaver-Brooks e. Burner tuning and emission testing compliant with DEQ and EPA reporting requirements. f. In-house engineering and design services g. In-house boiler makers h. Must have affiliations with: i. ASHRE ii. Power-Gen iii. Mech Exchange iv. CBRA Organization The NAICS code for this procurement is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance; Small Business Size Standards $7.5 Million. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size (large or small): identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories-8(a), HUBZone, Services Disabled Veteran-Owned/Veteran-Owned Small Business; provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement.
