Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER to and is not a request for competitive proposals. The Department of Commerce/NOAA/ SEFSC/NMFS, Panama City, FL has a requirement for Leica microscopes (stereo and compound) which allow NOAA researchers to age fish for stock assessments. NOAA intends to negotiate with and issue a sole source, firm-fixed price award to Leica Microsystems, Inc., 1700 Leider Lane, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (25-JUL-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
