Agency: Department of the Air Force Office: Real Property Office, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska Location: 673CES/CEIAP, 724 Postal Service Loop # 4500, JBER, AK 99505-4500 Notice Type: Special Notice - USAF-PACAF-HJZH-18-2-0282 Introduction and Purpose: JBER has received a request for a Lease for use of approximately 0.5 acres of land consisting of one 30'x30' parcel for use of a cellular equipment site, which will also require 1500 lf of fiber optic cable, more or less, located near the corner of Roosevelt Road and Stambone Road on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK thereto located in Section 29, Township 14 North, Range 2 West, Serward Meridian, on said property. This notice is to see if any similar interests exists for property under instrument number USAF-PACAF-HJZH-18-2-0282. Background Information: The authority for a lease such as that proposed is 10 USC 2667, which allows the Secretary of the Military Department to lease out non-excess property. Lease period will be for a term of five (5) years. Cost of lease of property wil be at a minimum equal to fair market value (FMV). Grantee must be able to meet all conditions in the attached lease template. Lease will be at no cost to the United States Air Force. Grantee will be responsible for all administrative costs associated with the lease. The details of the equipment and space utilization must be provided for review by 673d Civil Engineer Squadron, JBER, AK. At the completion of the lease, Grantor has complete discretion in granting a renewal and can consider, by way of example but not by way of limiation, the past practices of the Grantee of the installation, the timeliness of the Grantee's request for renewal relative to requests by other entities for simlar leases and the changing operational requirements of the Government.
