- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The current solicitation number is 18-239-SOL-00100 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is being conducted under Simplified Acquisitions Procedures in accordance with FAR part 13. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation may be obtained in full text form at http://www.arnet.gov/far. The Department of Health and Human Services/Indian Health Service has a requirement for a vendor to deliver water softener salt and put in softenet salt tank at the Red Lake Hospital, located in Red Lake, MN. The delivery schedule for delivery will be approximately 1730 pounds every two (2) weeks.This will be approximately 45,000 pounds a year. Please see SOW and RFQ for additional information. I will then do an amemdment to the solicitation and post as Q & A. We are wanting to do a base plus four (4) option years Firm Fixed Price contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-66. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 484110 with a small business size standard of $27.50.
