- This is a total small business set-a-side combined synopsis/solicitation. The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement to conduct environmental, biological, archaeological and historical structure desktop assessments. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is 140G0318Q0131 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-101, effective July 20, 2018. Please see solicitation with CLINS, technical specifications, provisions, and clauses. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted to the Contracting Officer via email by 03:00pm ET on August 3, 2018. Quotations are due no later than 03:00pm ET on August 9, 2018. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, Firm-Fixed Price type contract on or about August 10, 2018. NOTE: All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary - the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Materials submitted to the Government for review will not be returned. It is the responsibility of all interested parties to check back periodically for any amendments to the synopsis or solicitation. In order to comply with the debt collection improvement act of 1966, all contractors must be registered and have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be considered for an award of a federal contract. This system combines data that was formerly contained in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) and Online Representation and Certifications (ORCA).
