- Description
- Q: There is no Wage determination for any of the professional staff that is requested: Physical Therapist, Certified Athletic Trainer, or Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Is there another resource for wage requirements that I can access? A: An SF98 wage determination request has been filed with the Department of Labor requesting wage determination for these specific designations. The solicitation will be updated when the response is received. Q: Is it possible for me to come and look at the facilities? A: Site visits are allowable and will be scheduled individually by request. Q: Do you have an estimate of how many pilots are currently in need of physical therapy. Will the pilots be required to participate in the HPP? A: 30-40 pilots are estimated to participate in the program with the potential for increases in subsequent years. This program is voluntary for pilots. Q: Can the HPP include and bill for classroom and/or group sessions. Examples might be exercise classes for personnel with the same fitness level and/or injury, nutrition classes, and classes on body mechanics and ergonomics. A: The PWS already accounts for a "Post-Flight Flex Time" which is intended to accommodate "walk-ins". Q: Will personnel other than the pilots be allowed to participate in the HPP? If so, who determines who can participate? If additional staff is required, can the new expense be added to the contract? A: Only pilots are allowed to participate in the Human Performance Program. Option CLINs are included to account for additional appointments if needed. Q: Is it possible to see how the Base currently completes its Medical Records--electronically, handwritten, software, forms--and talk with a Medical Records Clerk or Technician? A: Offerors are not required to comply with military medical record keeping procedures or regulations.
