- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 has a need for Transitional Housing for Homeless Veterans. The contractor shall provide temporary residential housing to include but not limited to bed space, meals, and therapeutic and intensive case management services. The contractor s facility will serve a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 20 Veterans at one location. The solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5. Place of Performance: The contract facility will be located within a 50-mile radius of the Salisbury W.G. Bill Heffner VA Medical Center and/or within a 25- mile radius of the Charlotte and Kernersville VA Health Care Centers (HCCs). W.G. (Bill) Hefner VAMC located at 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury NC 28144 Charlotte HCC located at 3506 West Tyvola Road, Charlotte NC 28208 Kernersville HCC located at 1695 Kernersville Medical Parkway, Kernersville NC 27284 Period of Performance: Period of Performance for the resultant contract will be a four one year ordering period, November 1, 2018 September 30, 2022 in strict accordance with all schedules, specification, terms, and conditions and provisions of the contract solicitation. Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition is not a set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 623220, Residential Mental & Substance Abuse Facilities, with a size standard of $15 Million. This requirement will be solicited unrestricted to obtain full and open competition. Contract Type: The Government intends to award a multiple award Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. A formal Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about August 10, 2018 via Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website via https://www.fbo.gov/. All potential offerors are responsible for monitoring and downloading all documents including amendments at the FedBizOpps website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the following: SAM database at https://www.sam.gov Veteran Owned Small Businesses must be registered and verified in VetBiz.
