- This is an amendment to the Request for Quotations for a construction project to provide ABA compliant improvements to the Hoh and Mora campgrounds within Olympic National Park (OLYM), Washington (Clallam County). This amendment is necessary to extend the response date and revise the project period of performance. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. Originally, the project period of performance stated the government anticipated the contractor being able to start the week of September 3rd 2018 with completion by November 30, 2018. The original intent was to have the entire project completed within a few months during Fall 2018. Based on feedback received, the government accepts that the awarded contractor may only be able to complete part of the work in Fall 2018, and then will need to come back and finish all remaining work in Spring 2019. The priority is to have both foundations completed by November 30, 2018. OLYM will be constructing the new restroom buildings on top of the foundations with its own day labor crews in Fall 2018/Winter 2019. Contractor will be required to complete at least the foundation work by November 30, 2018 at both campgrounds. For all other work, as specified, the contractor will have additional time, through May 17, 2019. The May 17th completion date shall factor COR inspections, any re-work, and any punch list work, so that the entire project is 100% complete by May 17, 2019, in time for Memorial Day Weekend 2019. RESPONSE DATE is changed from 4:30pm (PST) on August 8, 2018 to 4:30pm (PST) on August 15, 2018. QUOTES ARE DUE BY 4:30PM (PST) ON AUGUST 15, 2018. Submit questions to Phaedra Fuller, Contracting Officer at email address Phaedra_Fuller@nps.gov. Final questions due by 2pm (PST) on August 10, 2018.
