Description

Sol. N0018918QZ632 This is a sources sought, request for information (RFI) notice and should not be construed as a solicitation announcement. The submission of this announcement is for the purposes of compliance with FAR 5.205. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the government to procure or compete for any services or supplies. The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Contracting Office is seeking marketing information, from responsible sources to gain knowledge of potential qualified business sources capable of providing the following items: -NCIS has a requirement for a High Density Filing System to replace their existing system. -In addition to the delivery and installation of a High Density Filing System, NCIS also requires a Warranty and Maintenance Plan on the system. The above supply is described, along with the requirements Statement of Work (SOW) in the attachment to the RFI. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) considered for this effort is 337215; Showcase, partition, Shelving and Locker Manufacturing, the SBA business size is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a response to the submission of information requested, which shall be considered by the FLC Norfolk Philadelphia Office. Product and company information, and CAGE code must be submitted email to thomas.carey2@navy.mil. Submission shall be received by 4:00 PM, Eastern Time, 07 August 2018 and shall not exceed five (5) typewritten pages in no less than 12 font size. This synopsis is only for market research purposes. This RFI does not constitute a request for proposal nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of response to this notice. All data received in response to this RFI marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from release outside the U.S. Government. Interested offerors shall address this requirement through this RFI in written format via email to thomas.carey2@navy.mil Reference: RFI for High Density Filing System to replace their existing system and Warranty/ Maintenace Plan. Personal visits for discussing this announcement will not be scheduled.
