- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for fire life safety upgrades for the Long Beach, CA airport air traffic control tower. This SIR/RFP is being posted in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management Policy, Section 3.2.1.3.11 Public Announcements. All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this SIR. NAICS CODE# - 238210 Location: Long Beach Airport Air Traffic Control Tower A site visit is scheduled for August 09, 2018 at 8:00 am. To attend the site visit please submit your name, company, and contact information to Katie Fogle at Katherine.fogle@faa.gov no later than August 6, 2018. All questions regarding this SIR should be submitted in writing to Katie Fogle at Katherine.fogle@faa.gov. All questions must be received no later than August 13, 2018. Questions received after August 13, 2018 will not be considered. Proposals are due no later than August 16, 2018 @ 15:00 MT. Any proposal received after 15:00 MT on August 16, 2018 will be considered non-responsive and will not be eligible for award. To be considered for award of this requirement, the offeror must have a current/valid registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database website: www.sam.gov.
