Description

Amendment 2 Solicitation Posted Amendments 1 and 2 posted ----------------------------------------------------------------- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District has a requirement entitled: Corps Island Dredge Material Site Unloading. Using USACE supplied plans and specifications, the contractor will accomplish the following summary Scope of Work: The project consists of transferring over 500,000 cubic yards of stockpiled dredge material from Corps Island (vicinity Diamond Bluff, WI) via mechanical and/or hydraulic excavation methods. Corps Island is without road access and has historically been used for the placement of material dredged from the main channel off the river. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990; Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard of $36.5M. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000; the contract will require 100% performance and payment bonds. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management (SAM). All bidders must be SAM registered prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.sam.gov.
