Description
COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION (FAR 12.603) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 140R4018Q0073 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-97 This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 562991 with an associated small business size standard of $7.5M. The services required under this solicitation are: The Utah Reclamation Mitigation and Conservation Commission has a requirement to pump 11 vault restrooms located at seven (7) different parking areas along the Provo River Restoration Project. Three (3) of the parking sites have single unit restrooms (one 1000-gallon vault, Cascadian model). Four (4) of the parking locations have double unit restrooms (two 1000-gallon vault, Double Cascadian model). The vault toilet buildings are CXT, Inc. 1.The restrooms shall be pumped once a year in the month of May, unless otherwise directed by the Contracting Officer. The contractor shall use the vault access doors on the rear of the restroom building to conduct the pumping. The vaults shall be pumped until empty and then backfilled with 50 gallons of clean water within 15 days of pumping. The contractor shall also be responsible to dispose of the vault contents at an approved site. 2.For the first year of this effort, six sites will be pumped within 30 days of contract award, in accordance with paragraph 2.1 above. Those sites are: Jordanelle, Cottonwood, River Road North, River Road South, Midway Lane South, and Charleston. 3.Starting in Option Year 1 and through Option Year 4, all seven sites (Jordanelle, Cottonwood, River Road North, River Road South, Midway Lane North, Midway Lane South, and Charleston) shall be pumped in accordance with paragraph 2.1 above. 4.The contractor shall coordinate with the Utah Reclamation Mitigation and Conservation Commission to schedule the work to ensure the vault access doors are unlocked. 5.The 11 vault restrooms are located adjacent to the Provo River between Jordanelle and Deer Creek Reservoirs in Wasatch County, Utah (see attached location map). The 11 vault toilets are located in seven (7) different parking areas as noted on the map. 6.Location Map: See attached 7.The period of performance consists of a base year and four options years as shown below: Base Year: July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019 Option Year 1: July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 Option Year 2: July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 Option Year 3: July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 Option Year 4: July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 Base Number of sites pumped = Price per site pumped =Base Year total price = Year 1Number of sites Pumped =Price per site pumped =Year 1 total price = Year 2Number of sites Pumped =Price per site pumped =Year 2 total price = Year 3Number of sites Pumped =Price per site pumped =Year 3 total price = Year 4Number of sites Pumped =Price per site pumped =Year 4 total price = The period of performance covers the entire year; however, all work shall be completed in May of each year, unless otherwise approved by the Contracting Officer. Addendum to 52.212-1 substitutes the term śquote ť where the term śoffer ť appears in the provision. By the provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, technical capability of equipment and labor to meet the described government need, and price will be evaluated equally.
