- Description
- The US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) in Shepherdstown, WV has a requirement for the removal of eighty six (86) trees and pruning of four (4) trees. The work is to be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work (Attachment A). The trees identified for removal are listed on the Tree List (Attachment B) and the locations of the trees are shown on the Tree Map (Attachment C). Unless otherwise described on the list (Attachment B), the trees are to be completely removed, with the stump cut at a height of one foot or less. The work is to be performed in a timely manner with all work completed no later than December 31, 2018. The majority of the work will be along public roads adjacent to the NCTC property, or in the main campus area. All work is to be performed under the supervision of an experienced Arborist, such as one certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) as a Certified Arborist, and must be done to ISA standards. Most work may be performed at a time determined by the Contractor, however, trees in the main campus are will require coordination with Staff. Due to annual Deer Hunts on the property, tree removal and associated work shall not be performed on the following Saturdays: October 13 and 27, November 10 and 24, and December 1, 8, and 15, 2018. (2)This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-99-1.
