- Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL has a requirement the Design, Purchase and Installation of one (1) pre-engineered modular building on Eglin AFB, FL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5M. The acquisition is anticipated to be a total small business set aside. This effort is anticipated to be a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Source Selection Process acquisition. Award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15.3. This project will require an approximately 14,700 square foot modular building. Included in these services will be the layout for 139 system workstations and six offices to fit the modular building requirements. Design, Purchase and Installation will include but not limited to all interior electrical, plumbing, communications, fire alarm, access control as well as all exterior utility requirements for the site to include electrical, plumbing, and communications. The Contractor is to Design, Procure, Construct, and Install a complete and usable project as specified by the Statement of Work. The performance period is 180 days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with the specifications. Proposals are not being requested or accepted at this time. As stipulated in FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation (Request for Proposal) exists at this time; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Governments Electronic Posting System https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 23 August 2018. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number; recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The solicitation will be available only via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov. For information on how to register your company on FBO, to view or receive updates and notifications to the solicitation, please reference the FBO Vendor Guide located on the FBO web site home page.
