Description

MSPV-NG Program Status Update The Coalition for Government Procurement is pleased to host an industry meeting with Jaime Friedel of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) to discuss the current status of the Medical/Surgical Prime Vendor Next Generation (MSPV-NG) program and next steps. The meeting will be on Thursday, August 23, at 10:00 AM EDT in Washington, DC. Attendees will learn: About the MSPV-NG Catalogue and J&A More on the Current Formulary Status and Process Timeline and Next Steps for Adding Products Q&A with the VA SAC   Guest Speaker: Jaime Friedel Director of Procurement MSPV Strategic Acquisition Center U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Background: In April 2018, a Justification and Notification (J&A) was published by the VA SAC to change the MSPV-NG contracts with prime vendors from "distribution" to "distribution and supply" contracts to increase the number of Formulary items from 7,800 to approximately 80,000 items. To Register: Space for in-person attendance is limited to 150 attendees on a first-come first-served basis. There is also a dial-in option for vendors who prefer to attend remotely or would like to join the meeting after the 150-person limit has been reached. RSVPs are required to attend. Please RSVP to Sean Nulty at snulty@thecgp.org by COB August 21 and specify whether you d like to attend in person or remotely to receive the location and/or dial-in information.
