- Page 1 of 2 STATEMENT OF WORK ARMA 2018 Registration General Information 1.0 Introduction: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Office of Health Informatics (OHI) will be sending 3 attendees to the annual 2018 ARMA convention to be held in Anaheim, CA on October 22-24, 2018. Period of Performance: October 22 24, 2018 1.2 Type of Order: Firm-Fixed-Price 1.3 Background ARMA is committed to advancing the Records Information Management (RIM) profession in an increasingly electronic and global environment through leadership in advocacy, education, certification, and lifelong learning. The information management industry continues to evolve, and ARMA is working to advance the accuracy, reliability, and usefulness of government information data by leading key industry initiatives and advocating for consistent standards. Needs are evolving from simply translating data to turning data into knowledge that powers better records information management decision making. ARMA ensures that RIM professionals are armed with the skills and tools to act as leaders, using quality information to achieve the Triple Aim of reduced costs, better records information management, and transparency of government information to the public. 1.4 Objectives VHA Records Management Program Office staff will attend the 2018 ARMA Convention, and join with other government leaders, record management professionals, and information management stakeholders from every segment of government information management to get industry updates, learn best practices, share innovative ideas, gain insights from lessons learned, and discuss how government records information management is shaping the future of federal government records management. Additionally, attendees will have access to the exhibit hall which will feature new and exciting innovative technology solutions to help advance your organization and gain a competitive advantage. 2.0 Scope of Work: The vendor shall provide 3-Day Registration to a total of 3 VHA attendees. All attendees will receive the Government records/information management training. Each VHA Records Management Program Office attendee will select a separate track to maximize information received and use this information to inform other VAMC Records Manager of changes in records/information management. Description of Tasks: Registration will include: General Sessions Exhibit Hall Entry Educational Sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Sunday and Thursday will be travel days.
