Description
Replacement of Two AC Units Provide & install 2 wall mounted air cooled AC package units rated at 5 tons of cooling capacity. 2 - Stand-alone multi zone control panels that are linked to an in house server for remote monitoring and temperature control. Contractor shall include any required user licenses for the automated control system. Demolition of 2 existing AHU's & duct work - Secure electrical, chilled water, city water and steam to the AHU's in order to safely demolish the equipment and remove from the premises. Remove all related dampers, return, fresh air, duct hangers and supply duct for each AHU. Main trunk line is located above bundles of communication cable and must be removed in a way that the cables are not damaged by the sharp edges of the duct work as it is removed from the ceiling. Supply and install 2 fresh air supply fans and related valves, dampers, ductwork, fan starters, smoke detector, fan controls, tie in start/stop fan signal into the existing Honeywell BAS control panel, and install heat/cool fan coils to temper the incoming air for pre-cooling and pre heating. Safety cut out controls shall protect the heating and cooling coil from freezing in the event that the heating coil cannot provide heat at outdoor temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Dampers, actuators and control valves shall be part of freeze protection. Supply and install 2 exhaust fans, power supply, fan starters, safety cut outs, smoke detector, exhaust/relief dampers and related duct work. Each studio has an existing return duct and the contractor shall reuse that duct work as an exhaust vent and tie the main duct into the new exhaust fan. Also tie in start/stop fan signal into the existing Honeywell BAS control panel. Install fresh air duct and duct into each studio area.
