Description

Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition Certification and Approvals Repair Keysight (formerly Agilent) E7405A Portable RF Spectrum Analyzer for digital emission testing, primarily used at the OET Laboratory located in Columbia, MD. This purchase consists of repair & recalibration of one E7405A/US411600425 RF Spectrum Analyzer. This test instrument is required to perform Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) and generic emission testing on digital and wireless equipment, an FCC OET Laboratory asset used to fulfill the related technology evaluation and scientific study duties outlined in 47 CFR 0.31(a) and (c). Annual calibration of the asset revealed an internal system alignment error, internal Local Oscillator unlock and unlevel condition. The manufacture repair and realignment of the internal LO is necessary to proceed with the recalibration of the unit is included in the repair
