- Solicitation including Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 in combination with FAR Subpart 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 1645BC-18-Q-00033 and is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR FAC 2005-99 July 16, 2018. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332323 Ornamental And Architectural Metal Work Manufacturing. Small business size standard is 500 employees. Items are to be furnished in accordance with the specifications in the attached product specifications. A site visit will be established at the National Mine Health and Safety Academy in Beaver, WV on August 22 at 10:00 AM. Offerers must be fully registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Quotations must be received by Jennifer McKeever, Contract Specialist no later than 2:00 PM (EDT) on September 4, 2018. Proposals will be accepted by e-mail at McKeever.Jennifer@dol.gov. Electronic quotations must be submitted in a format compatible with Microsoft Office or Adobe. Quotations must be valid for a period of 90 days and include enough information for the Government to make a determination that the Contractor can responsibly deliver the required products. All questions on this requirement must be submitted in writing via e-mail to the Contract Specialist by August 26, 2018, 1:00 PM (EDT) Any questions for which answers can be provided may be conveyed to the prospective Offerors by amendment to this RFP on or around August 27, 2018, without reference as to the originating source.
