Description

Redacted Sole Source J&A Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) intents to award sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Pumps, Parts, & Services Inc. (hereon as PP&S), under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented under FAR 13.501 (a)(1). PP&S is the exclusive distributer of Flowserve Model 8MSX13C FPD that is in need of replacement. The assembly parts are needed to replace the existing pumps installed in a U.S. Navy vessel was manufactured by Flowserve Corporation. The Government does not anticipate significant subcontracting opportunities because of the nature of the work. However, companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Flowserve Corporation. This notice is not a request for competitive quote. A solicitation will not be available for this requirement. This notice is only for informational purpose only. A determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any inquiries with regards to this notice must be sent to Joseph Estrella, Contract Specialist at joseph.l.estrella@navy.mil. Any information received on or before the posting date of this notice will be considered by the Government.
