- FA500418BA003, Solicitation Wage Determination Drawings Reference Drawings Drawing Schedule Hazmat Report Submittal Register Specifications/Summary of Work Synopsis of Work ---NO ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED--- The work includes replacement of the industrial control system for the ash handling system at Eielson AFB's Central Heat and Power Plant. The project consists of replacement of controls for collection of bottom ash and fly ash from the boilers, bottom and fly ash silo filling and silo unloading. Contractor shall provide new programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens, control cabinets, wiring and accessories. Contractor shall provide programming, check-out and training for new systems and demolition of abandoned equipment. Installation shall be phased to accommodate continuous plant operations. Work includes minor abatement of asbestos, lead base paint and hazardous dust as necessary to safely complete the work of the project. The Government is contemplating a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Sealed Bid contract. IAW FAR 36.204(f): The estimated magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 This posting is an Invitation for Bids. Respondees are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this solicitation; all costs associated with responding to this solicitation will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this solicitation does not preclude participation in any future IFB, if one is issued. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The due date and time for submission of bids is contained in the solicitation package. Paper copies will NOT be available. The entire solicitation, including the specification and/or drawings, are available only on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at: https://www.fbo.gov/ It is the sole responsibility of all Interested Parties to register for notification updates to any and all subject documents for the said action.
