- Engineering Services: FA8509-18-Q-0006 This requirement is for services required to update the government-owned Personal Digital Assistant - MIL-STD-188-184 (PDA-184). These services include providing updated software including interim engineering builds, complete interface documentation, test procedures, and remote technical and engineering support in order to support testing and integration. This software development requires no travel or materials, only engineering labor. The contractor shall ultimately deliver an installable software update for PDA-184 Remote Control Interface, including interim engineering builds (alpha and beta). An approved Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) and a complete Interface Control Document (ICD) are required. The contractor shall deliver a detailed Software Interface User Manual and final Acceptance Test Report. Anticipated pricing arrangements: Firm Fixed Price Period of Performance : Basic is 8 months with no option period. Place of Performance : These services will be performed at the contractor facility. This is a small business set-aside. The Government anticipates a sole source award to Xenotran Corporation, CAGE Code: 072Z3. Justification: 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(1), Only One Or A Limited Number Of Responsible Sources, and No Other Supplies Or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Request for Quotation will be released no later than 31 August 2018. The RFQ will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website ( www.fbo.gov ). No hard copies will be provided. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
