- This is not a request for quote, proposal or an invitation for bid. The U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD), Norfolk, VA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for potential offerors to provide 2 anchors for the Cape Chalmers. Anchors are to be delivered to Charleston SC at the address to be provided. Time Critical: Anchors need to be received in Charleston between 8/27/18 - 9/7/18. This procurement will be released as a total small business set-aside. The solicitation will be issued as an RFQ under 6933A218Q000028 and will be posted to Fed Biz Ops ( https://www.fbo.gov/ ) electronically on or about August 16, 2018. NO HARD COPIES will be provided and NO TELEPHONE inquiries will be accepted. The solicitation must be downloaded from the FBO website. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates or amendments to any and all documents. Questions received in response to this solicitation will be answered via amendment and posted to the Fed Biz Ops website. All responsible small business sources may submit a response to the Government's RFQ and all quoters that are deemed responsible and conforming to the requirements set forth in the solicitation, will be considered by this agency. All quoters interested in submitting a quote on this solicitation must (at the time of their submission) be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at website https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/#1#1.
