Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W912LN-18-R-5004 is hereby issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-69. This RFQ is set aside 100% for small businesses. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 484110 with a business size standard of $27,500,000. Firm Fixed Price Quotes are being solicited for the following: Transportation of Liquid Oxygen carts from South Burlington, VT to location (with alternate) specified in the included PWS. *** Please note this RFQ is submitted Subject to funds available IAW FAR 52.232-18 Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Governments obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. Quotes are due no later than 16 August, 2018, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). All offers received prior to closing date and time shall be considered. In addition to the above listed items, each offeror must provide all required NON-PRICING responses (e.g. payment discount terms, delivery terms, technical proposal for EQUAL products, etc.). The Government will award a contract resulting for this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable to the Government.
