- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation and quotes are being requested. Solicitation number SPE4A8-18-Q-0105 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This is notice of the Government's intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.1, full and open competition, and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. Description of requirements: Retractable Paint Booth in accordance with VIBB 18-25-1016, Purchase Description for a Retractable Paint Booth, dated March 27, 2018. Performance period/completion date is 180 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination; Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Destination is the Naval Foundry and Propeller Center, Philadelphia, PA 19112. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for September 5, 2018 @ 8:00 AM, and may be subject to change. Additional site visit instruction is included in the solicitation under DLAD Procurement Note L07, Site Visit Instructions. A copy of the solicitation is available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/Solicitations/. To obtain a copy of the solicitation, Click on the Solicitations tab and enter the solicitation number you wish to download in the DIBBS Global Solicitation Search box on the right side of the screen. Solicitations are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat reader. This software is available free at https://www.adobe.com. All responsible sources may submit a quotation sufficient to determine capability which may be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted not later than the closing date and time as listed. All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management website (https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/), ORCA, and have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. All quotes received after the closing date listed may be considered "late" and may not be considered for award.
