Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Industrial Dishwasher Commercial items. Solicitation number: 36C26318Q9736 1a. DESCRIPTION OF THIS SOLICITATION. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is for the purchase of an Industrial Dishwasher for a VA Hospital/Station. Information relevant to this solicitation: Solicitation number: 36C26318Q9736 NAICS code (North American Industrial Classification system: 335220 Size Standard for this NAICS code: 1,500 employees PSC/FSC (Product Service Code/Federal Supply Code): 7320 This acquisition is: Set-aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Only VA verified SDVOSBs listed in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) Database at the time of award of contract will be considered. Quotations from Non VIP verified offerors will be considered non-responsive, will not be evaluated and will not be eligible for award. Any or equal items must meet or exceed the performance specifications of the brand name items being solicited. The type of award(contract) the government intends to make/enter for this solicitation is: a single award, Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. Delivery method and instructions: FOB Destination, 60 Calendar Days ARO. Contract Period: Delivery date - 60 Calendar Days ARO. 1b. Description: VA-CIHCS Nutrition and Food Services has a requirement for: One flight type dishwasher, soiled breakdown system, pot scrubber, disposer, removal of current equipment and installation of new equipment. 1. Flight Type Dishwasher Salient Characteristics, The item must: be/ have/ do these things o Dual Rinse o Hinged and Insulated Doors o Sliding Wash Arms without caps o Machine, doors, legs etc stainless steel o Conveyor Type o Indicator or alarm for low temperature o Digital controls with machine diagnostics o Variable speed conveyor o Auto Clean o Auto De-lime o Left to Right Operation o Steam Blower Dryer o Steam Tank Heat (28-35PSI available) o Steam Booster Heater o Energy Recovery System o 6 higher than standard chamber o 208-240 Volts/60 Hertz/3 Phase Input o Approximately 22 feet long. Dimensions may need to be adjusted to ensure that machine fits in the allotted space. Vendor will verify dimensions prior to bid being accepted. o Vendor to verify utility needs are available prior to bid being accepted. o Minimum one (1) year parts and labor 2. Removal and Installation, The item must: be/ have/ do these things Detachment of existing machine and equipment and move to loading dock Assembly of new machine and all components Assembly and setting of all line items above Make final utility connections Connect to exist duct work and complete any modifications that are needed for new machine to properly operate Start up and test all items to verify proper operation Dispose of any debris at onsite dumpster 6. Freight/Shipping Optional/Desired 7. In-service training provided by vendor or manufacturer to include use, features, cleaning and maintenance of equipment. 8. Operation Manual 9.
