- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Installation Contracting Office (IOC)- Fort Stewart, Georgia anticipated issuing a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) solicitation. Solicitation Number W9124M-18-B-0008 will be available for downloading through the FedBizOpps website at www.fbo.gov on or about 08/25/ 2018. Potential Bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. All Bidders must register with the Central Contractors Registry now known as the System for Award Management (sam.gov) per FAR 52.204-7. The solicitaion is 100% set aside for qualifying Service disabled Veteran small business firms under NAICS code 238160 (Size Standard % 15 million). The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $ 500,000 and $ 1,000,000. Contract performance time is 210 days. MICC-Fort Stewart is operating a paperless contracting file system. A minimum of one copy each document submitted to the contracting office shall be in an electronic format. Acceptable formats are PDF, DOC(x), XLS(x), TXT, JPG and XPS. All submissions shall include one (1) CD with all required documents and one (1) paper copy of each bid. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed. The primary point of contact is Tatjana M. The work covered by this contract consists of furnishing all plant, lobor,materials and performing all operations required in connection with Roof work complete in strict specifications and drawings. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to the following items. 1.1 Brief description of Work (replace roof)- The scope of the project is to remove exisiting asphalt shingles. remove and replace water damaged plywood roof decking. Install new asphalt shingle roof. Install pitch pocket for one roof penetration. Instlal flashing for four plumbing vents. Install aluminum drip edge and aluminum ridge vent. Description of work for repair roofs- Patch of deterioriated metal roof. remove and replace worn out screws and neoprene wahsers. Replace flashing on PVC vent pipes. Pressure wash metal roof surface to prepare for roof coating. Apply flexible acrylic waterproofing system over entire roof surface.
