- Requests for Information (RFIs) and Answers 1.In scope its mentioned 30 days plan for SME? See Scope of Work (SOW) 4.2.1. 2.Whats the standard for snow and wind load which we need to follow? Wind load is provided in SOW 4.1.9, no snow loading is necessary. 3.Will it be built for permanent use or does it need to be deployable? Permanent 4.If deployable, how often? Once 5.Will the hangar cover a typical aircraft or receive various types? Door opening and clear internal dimensions are provided in SOW 4.1 to accommodate the intended use. 6.If we know which aircraft, we can draw in to the structure to check all measurements and dimensions? Draw the box described in the statement of work. 7.Will it be used for maintenance and/or as parking area? Maintenance and parking 8.Regarding the 4 requested personnel doors, I suppose you mean 2 on each long side? Correct 9.Motorized front door: We can offer a flat gable door or a big mouth (clamshell) as shown on the picture below. Note: By choosing the big mouth option, you will automatically increase the inside area when the structure is closed and optimize the maximum width opening. Either is acceptable as long as it complies with section 4.1.3 of the SOW. 10.We had difficulties what tent is for. Is this a tent shelters planes, drone or people? Can you give us more details? Maintenance and parking of aircraft. 11.In 3.0 Scope of Work you identify that the SME, materials and shipping necessary for the tentage and associated components is to be delivered to Baledogle Military Airfield in Somalia. In 10.0 Applicable Documents, delivery information you provide the address for Camp Lemonnier in Djibouti for the tent structure. We understood that we will be responsible to get the SME to Djibouti, but please confirm the delivery location for the tension fabric structure. Unit address is at Camp Lemonier and SME will need to arrive at Camp Lemonier to board MilAir flight to Baledogle Military Airport (BMA). However, tent materials will be delivered to and assembled at BMA. Final contract award will reflect BMA address for clarity. 12.Will it be mounted to concrete paved surface like apron, ramp on airfield or do we have to make concrete slab works It will be mounted on a concrete slab sized specific to tent specifications. 13.Can we obtain heavy equipment (manlift, forklift etc) from government sources as GFM? SME will be providing direction to engineering workforce installing the tent. See section 4.2.2 for deliverable.
